Ideas

Don’t know where to start developing the story for you video? We’ve heard stories and scenarios from our customers for years now. Here are a few ideas to get you started. Be creative, be wacky, have fun, and knock our socks off.

  • Credit cards. We all have them and we all know the frustration, humor and bizarre things that happen with them. Shoot a video about a credit card customer service agent and show us your take.  Maybe you lost a card, need a higher limit, want to apply for a card or are travelling. Dream it up, we want to see!
  • Don’t you love a good automated recording? While they’re very useful for companies they can be a real hassle. How many buttons have you pressed to finally get what you wanted? Ever hear any strange menu selections? Cook up your best automated voice recordings and get it on camera.
  • Language Barrier. Like it or not, many companies outsource their customer service. Develop a humorous script about customer service and language barriers. The possibilities are limited only by the number of languages in the world universe.
  • We all know just how convoluted insurance claims can get. Develop a scenario about an insurance claim and send it in. Whether it’s an outrageous claim, or an outrageous agent, or an outrageous regulation, we want to see it.
  • Online and telephone ordering can be great. It saves you so much time and gas. But it doesn’t always prevent a headache. Develop a story around ordering online or via the telephone. Was the size wrong? Did you get too many of something? Not enough? It’s all great video.

SAMPLE SCENARIO #1 (You can read ours, but we want you to make up your own.):
My new laptop arrived to the office DOA (Dead on Arrival). I called the customer support number and told them it wouldn’t boot up and that I needed a new one ASAP.  The agent directed me to the manual on CD, provided with the computer. Which I couldn’t get to since it was DEAD! I asked him if he understood the irony of putting the troubleshooting guide on CD since the PC didn't work. After an hour and a half of being on hold for “escalation” and then finally talking to a supervisor, they said they'd have to send a new one -- the very suggestion I'd made at the beginning of the call.
